Alright folks! Some of you may know about this, some may not. I can get high, without the smelly smokes, without the snorting, without the pills. I can get high off a pair of high quality headphones?

 

How, you may ask? It is simple. Binaural beats! Binaural beats is when, your headphones, play 2 different frequencies in each ear, and your brain makes a third frequency. I don't know the rest of this scientific crap, but here is what happens...

I use a program called iDoser, it works. Some people argue, "Oh, this is just a placebo effect", and upon further investigation, they just havent met the requirements. This shit is real.

 

The doses that have worked for me are : Marijuana, French Roast Coffee, Peyote, Nitrous, A-bomb, and Gates of Hades(I had a panic attack...) I havent even tried a quarter of the doses. The things that didnt work for me were Cocaine and Heroin.

Yeah, its an advertisement, but its for all those wannabes out there who wanna get high. It does sound like bullshit, and some people do wonder if it is the placebo effect, but I also have some of those doses on my mp3, they work. I just randomly shuffle one out of my recreational folder. It works. Not as good as the real thing probably though.

It does work in certain aspects. The subliminal creating of a third frequency in the brain slightly alters how one perceives and feels things. Depending on the two frequencies used, the third frequency could alter mood (xtc) spacial awareness (psychedelics) and just about any other impulse in the brain.

 

The reason why this happens is because the third frequency created isn't one that you use in normal waking consciousness. So depending on the degree of the third frequency; one could experience sensations that you've never or normally don't experience.

 

Mind you all of these effects are subtle and dependent on the individual; but there is enough effects shown to not completely write this off as "complete and utter bullshit".

 

So in other words, go buy some shrooms you idiots and stop playing at the entrance doors of perception.

I use Brain Sync occasionally when I'm having trouble concentrating, but I don't think it's the same thing. Same concept though, feeding your brain things. Whether it works or doesn't work, I think belief is a big part of something like this. If you believe it's producing the desired effects, then it's probably going to, though obviously for advertisement's sake things are very over-sauced.

 

I don't question it, I just know that Brain Sync helps me focus. If you go on the I-Doser site and go into sample in the little CDs and MP3 packs and try the Pure CD Gamma one, you can feel the front part of your brain react to it, for me it does anyway.

 

Piqued my interest either way, I-Doser seems easier to stomach as it's got actual beats as opposed to most of the Brain Sync stuff which is ambient.
