Most of these tips are straight forward, but they will help you more then anything.
1. Your playing time in the servers and love of the game.
2. Your maturity and ability to make the correct decisions in the servers.
3. Your forum activity - The forums are the front page of this community and many of the Advisor spend hours on the forums and sometimes it's easier to get noticed on the forums.
4. Age - Age has nothing to do with your promotion all about your activity and maturity.
6. Donations do not guarantee a promotion, but they do get you noticed. People who get in the top 20 list, will get extra bar under their name .
7. Always take advice from [sG]'s, they've been admin much longer then you have and know the ropes.
And finally; Never ask for a promotion, this just shows that you're impatient and will slower your app process. Also never complain in the chatbox or servers that you didn't get promoted.

You have no idea how many people I've had to reapplied due to them not meeting the min Requirements.
Before even considering applying for admin, please read this :
After your 60 days, don't apply with Zero posts. We don't know who the hell you are and will most likely get reapplied at our Sunday meeting, so don't even waste your time.
