well, the basic of the basic. But with my Lua knowledge (since it is somewhat connected) I can call it basic. The tutorial just needs a bit of comments and I'll get along pretty fast.

Can anyone link me to a good tutorial site to learn how to make simple 2D games? I don't care what types of small games, as long as it is one. The reason why I'm asking this is, if I learn from this stuff, I can make it advancer myself by well.. idk how to explain how I work (this is how I learned GLua, looking at simple tutorials and making my own advanced shit)

I have 2 things to say. 1) Nod32 is not free, unless downloaded illegally. 2) Kaspersky is as great as Nod32. I have done research and to make myself even more sure, I use both of them. Kaspersky on my main PC and Nod32 on my laptop. Both are doing a great job, none has shown me they are better than the other ;P

GameOverlayUI.exe is something from steam itself if I'm not wrong. This should automatically close when you close CS:S. Everything looks normal on there.. except from the fact that you have a shitton running on the background (all the "Owner" stuff). Idk if that is something what XP all needs, but yeah.. I'm using windows 7 so I can't really tell.

Well at least now you got a better antivirus :V Euhm now serious. Pres CTRL + ALT + DEL (all together) so a menu will pop up, click "Task Manager". As soon as Task Manager open, click on the tab called "Processes" and maximize the window. Take a screenshot of that window and show me the screenshot, so I can see what activities you have running that could influence your FPS.

You sure you uninstalled it and not simply closed it? Because that's a big difference. (The program must be GONE from your pc, so you can't open it anymore)

Just take MSE, that should work too. (I only gave avast since that is free and good too, but so is MSE) Just uninstall Norton and install MSE

Well I would start with removig that crap. I'm serious. There are LOTS of free antiviruses that are A LOT better. Google AVG, this one is ok. Norton is probably the thing running on the background eating your CPU, RAM AND Internet connection speed. When removed try css again.
