  1. We have a new ventrilo host. The vent info is the same as the old vent.steam-gamers.net port 4577. If that name fails you can use the real IP address 72.37.204.82:4577. Your old acount logins will not work. You will have to join as a guest and wait for someone to set you up.

  6. You guys have made some great banners but I am starting to think we need to keep the banners seperate and just have two forum styles. That way we can keep this zm logo on the default style and come up with an new forum look and banner for the steam-gamers.net side of the site. So I am extending the contest 1 more week and would like to see your submissions for a banner same size but just use the Steam Gamers logo. UPDATE: contest now ends August 31st New forum style will have a dark (maybe black) background. Stick to the same size rules in the first post. Make the banner just for Steam Gamers! *If I decide to use any of the previous submissions for any other purpose I will compensate the creator of that image.

  8. Suricruise promoted to Administrative Manager (AM) Suricruise has done such a great job as an AO I think its time he take on leadership role with in the AO ranks. Suri is the perfect role model for the rest of the AO's and will now officially be in charge of the AO group. Suri will continue to help out with the AO's duties but will now focus on getting the rest of the group more organized and assist them with duties they might need help on. Here is a small list of additional duties/responsibilities the (AM) will be in charge of: Manage AO duties and responsabilities. Make sure AO's each due their share of work. Recommend candadites for AO Promotions. Report directly to Board of Directors about AO issues. Punish AO's for inapropriate/incorrect actions. Join me in congratulating him for a job well done.

  11. We are looking to replace our current banner with a new banner that will have Zombie Murder and SteamGamers in it. We are thinking of a split banner that shows both sides of the community (SG|ZM). The winner of the contest will receive $30.00 via paypal for winning. The winner can also convert that money into credit with the community to be used for admin/supporter/reserved. The judges will be the Board of Directors and yours truely. Requirements: -Height must be between 160-200 pixels. -Width must be between 800-900 pixelsl. -It must look good with this forum style and colors. Be as Creative as possible and make sure it says Steam Gamers and Zombie Murder in the image.   12. I am excited to announce that we have a new dedicated server in Europe that is capable of hosting many many servers. So far I have created (4) new servers and will be making more soon. The main goal here was to get a good ping in Europe and bring our most popular servers overseas. I feel this will be a huge gain for the community if we can get them populated like our US counterparts. We will need your help to get these servers populated especially the Europe players we have now. Please try and find time to help fill these servers. Our old UK Escape server has been moved to the new dedicated server, I have a redirect script running to help move traffic. Here is the list of NEW servers: Europe Escape Server (40 slot) Unlimited Ammo (40 slot) Europe Zombie Hell (32 slot) Europe Deathrun (30 slot) *More servers coming soon....

  14. I would say that a good majority of our admins here are adults, but ofcourse ingame you will find mostly kids. Edo, Red Tampon, Killermidget, and myself are some of the old fucks around here. I will be 26 in September.
  15. I love the current banner, but might want to try and make a banner for the sg side of things. Might be able to set the forum up with a zm look (current) and an sg look (needs a banner). Just see what you guys can make and if we find an awsome banner maybe we use it. Also had a cool idea for a joint banner. Could make a split banned. One side zm one side sg and in the middle have a split face. On the zm side have a zombie face and on the sg side something else.

These (3) people have proven to us that they are deserving of the promotions and we feel will do a great job. It is always tough to decide who to promote since we have so many great admin within this community.   22. We have tried a few skins on here but none of them looked professional or as clean looking as the default. We do use a custom background color and the image at top was made by Atarian. Do you have a way to create skins without having access to our root forum? Only myself and BD's have access to the forum admin mod. Would it be possible for you to create some examples and display them on a test website? If we like them then I could import the template?

    Slower video cards have a hard time with breakfloor because of all the glass in the map. When the round ends all the glass has to be spawn/assemble. When I used to have a nvidia 6200 I would get connection problem for about 10 seconds before I could spawn. Since upgrading to my nvidia 8600gt I spawn without any wait or lag. Maybe?
