22in CRT monitor here, Heavy as you can imagine, but goes up to 1920x1640. And I bought it for $2.00 at my Church's Flea Market.

One day, I want to see: Whatever is the most powerful i7 on the market overclocked to 4.5 GHz, Quad-SLI GT2 295 (that is, 8 GTX295 cores) and 32 GB of DDR3 1800 Ram. And probably, liquid nitrogen to cool it!

Do not buy a 9800, get a GTX 275. Get a Phenom II 955 though, it is cheaper.

A monster machine and overkill: Take a top of the line i7 or similar Phenom... Get 3 way sli ability on your motherboard... Sli 3 295 Geforces, get 16 gb of RAM, Liquid nitrogen Cooling. Overclock to 6 GHZ on the AMD or equivlent on the intel, boast. I have a GTX 260, Phenon II 940 overclocked to 3.51Ghz (the North Bridge is also overclocked), 4 gbs or DDR2800 RAM (Slightly underclocked for stability), and a 750 GB hard drive. Its awesome, and an oven for my computer.

A 6800 is one of the best cards in the world. It revolutionized the world of gaming. You should be find with a 6800. I could play Call of duty 4 with mine at 30 fps fine. Of course, now I use a GTX 260 .
