  7. Moral dilemma

    Gave my two weeks notice today. Just to give you an idea of what kind of piece of shit my boss is, here's what he told me. He said I was being disrespectful to him after all he's done for me. That it was my fault that the images were deleted and that he didn't force me to delete the records or replace the images with fake ones. He essentially brushed it off as if it were nothing, no surprise there. He said this was like spitting in his face since I didn't talk to them about this before resigning. He asked if there was a way to change my mind and I said no, I've made up my mind. Even if they did offer me something to stay, I wouldn't. Not after the way they behaved. Immature pricks.

  14. It's not exactly a starvation diet. It's meal replacement and I eat 6 times a day. I drink lots of water all day, too, so that's not an issue. I also ordered a bike trainer for my bike, should be here in a few days. I'll exercise on that each morning before I shower. All I do when I wake up is sit at the PC and relax, might as well sit on a bike and get a small workout in. When I move back to Florida with my fiance, I'll probably join her gym and workout with her. I've done a lot of research on this and know what needs to be done. I also stopped drinking and don't plan on drinking much anymore. Since I'm switching jobs soon, I have no reason to drink. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, finally.

  17. Not a bad idea. I have a bike sitting in the corner that I never use because the curbs on my street have no ramps, so it's a bitch to bike around at a constant pace.   18. It is high protein. The 600 calories is only counting their 5 meals. My 'lean and green' can be a few hundred, depending on what I get. I think Panera's chicken caesar's salad is 500 calories, but I don't know. When I get home I'll add up the calories for my daily meals. I just know the bars are 110-120 calories each, not sure on the shakes or soups.

  22. Yeah, I'm drinking just water. Orange/Apple juice has too much sugar in it. I take a multivitamin and omega-3 pills, so I don't need any vitamin C.

  25. I'm all aware of soy protein vs whey protein. I'm not doing any sort of body building, if I were, I'd probably still supplement a shake after a workout. I'm mainly losing weight because my dad is in some horrible shape, can't have much more than 300mg of sodium a day and has already had a quadruple bypass. I'll try and get into the habit of running a bit after work, but it'll be tough. It brings your metabolism back up. The majority of people on a new diet lose a lot their first week/month and then lose considerably less the remaining months they are on it. All of these meals are ~120 calories. At 5 of these meals a day, that's 600 calories, well below the 2,000 daily average. I used to eat 1-2 meals a day and it was normally fast food. McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A, 5 Guys, etc. I was skeptical that these small ass bars would be filling, but they do work.
