I know quite a lot of you guys work in the IT Industry. I want to start building my own server which I will host game servers on. One issue, I have no idea what to get, where to start really. I was thinking about building a SCSI server (Server Tower Case) Scan.co.uk: SM-743T-R760-B - Supermicro SC743T-R760 4U/Tower Chassis - Black I was thinking about either getting SATA and setting them up on RAID, or getting SCSI HDD (But there god damn expensive) What do you guys recommend? I want to do web hosting / game server hosting so RAM and hard drive transfer speeds are really important. On that note, I was looking at this mobo; Supermicro X8DTH-6F With ECC Ram; 24GB Hynix Server Memory 1333MHz (x4?) Then Intel Xeon CPU's. So yeah, any knowledge, heads up etc would be really greatful! (Connections - renting space at BlueSquare in Maidenhead, I'll have the best connection possible, well, for UK)

Am I the only person having issues with the chatbox? I can never actually view the chatbox, it seems to be a random occurrence when it does pop up, most of the time it just shows the \"Loading\" bar, I wait, refresh, try everything but nothing happens, after a while it states I am \"Idle\" click here to refresh, I click it then the cycle continues... The server section within the forums should be altered. The minecraft section needs to be split into two parts like the other servers, RP IP and Build IP. BC2 server needs to be added as well.

You set what map starts up in the autoexec config for server within the CP Panel! Random map start-up, could be quite fun. Or, when the server crashes it restarts on the same map?
