All what you said is true, but don't be afraid of fucking things up, for one for you get Basic Admin training, and Advanced... Just don't be scared of making a few mistakes I remember on my first day of being an admin, I got told that I did a shit job :L But hey, you learn by your mistakes, just remember mistakes are good IF you don't do them again (In most cases) If you need any help just pm a staff member.

I use socket 775, just got an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, mine's clocked at 2.7GHz and cost me £150. (Bout 6 months ago, gone done a lot now, you can get an i7 for the same! But thats a different socket)
