If you have read the forum Yesterday - Today, and noticed that there have been various threads about this and explenations from Amit, they have a plan for the future. That's what i'm talking about.

BIG COMMUNITY POLL 22 hours ago, the announcement that officially would change SteamGamers forever has been launched into our community. Soon after that, we knew bit by bit that a guy named "Amit" would be our new surpreme overlord in command. Garfieldh escaped the kingdom and while Amit is trying to introduce him to the community, we all have so many questions. (Must thank Amit for awnsering all those questions in the announcement) We all knew SteamGamers had a bad time, and there is no looking back now. The way it was handled without having informed the Steamgamers' player base is absolutely unacceptable imo. The higher ups tried cooling us down fast (Thank you Ms.Blargh btw and sorry). Steamgamers won't be the same again. But is this a sad memory? The various views on this matter has made me realise that we can't all be satisfied in the way we want and we will have to make choices. The reason i have made this thread is to know: "HOW DO YOU FEEL, AS A MEMBER OF STEAMGAMERS.COM, ATM WITH THIS CURRENT STATE OF SG AND DO YOU SUPPORT OUR NEW 'OWNER' AMIT? Ok it's not fair that we're not giving you a fair chance. Maybe we're just overreacting. But if you CAN ensure us that we're still the same SG after the whole process (Of course improved), then you have my full support. I'm sorry if we give you the feeling that you're not welcome in our humble society... Lair of Bubbles.

As i have discussed with Saxe, Why wouldn't we just get the money together to buy Steamgamers.com, divide it into capital stocks (or stockings idk) and see where we can get from there? Theoretical, i have seen some options: -The stock holders as a part of the higher ups, a new sort of Community Advisors that consider new stuff for SteamGamers and helping as much as they can, with Donators (Keep the same rank) to reach the monthly limit. - The stock holders can leave SteamGamers when they want, because they can sell their share to anybody that has interest. (For example. I have 5% of SG and want to get out. MPQC wants to buy it and i bought it for 68$, so i can get 68$ for it, no more, no less. Unless people bid more for it if they want it so badly. -The stock holders don't have any server powers (if they don't have admin powers already) and don't have server access, nor can they buy it. -The President of Steamgamers could be elected from a major community vote (Reg and up can participate, but Bullet Wound can host the elections ) -The major concern was improvement. There can be a trust fund for SG that holds all the money from SG and is trusted to the new chosen President. The new president can't take money or make changes (only add fcourse) without permisson from the Board of Directors and the Stock holders. This is only a theoretical idea, don't flame on me for this. Bob is right. We need to stand up and ask for advantages. WE HAVE TO STAND UP FOR OURSELVES! We want: -Better and more servers -Overall internet publicity -The chance to grow further in the community in a system that's not owned by dictators -A cb with the chance to see people through webcam (everybody lieks cams) -New layout -A primal overlord like Neji -Giveaways of games and merchandise Please Amit? -

Welcome Amit, I hope you can lead SG to a better future, with better prospects and more players. The last thing i want to see is a lay-out like eGO that's divided in Divisions. it's something that could work, but it would lean to other communities and that's something SG never was and hopefully never will be. SG is unique, so are it's players, so is it's future. Thank you. (Btw, with a clean start, a banlist reset should be cool ) Oh, and maybe setting up servers for Europe and America? Because sometimes the connection is so bad, the lag was unbearable But prob. will that problem dissapear with the new better servers.
