You do download the player so you can watch Netflix on the Xbox. It isn't a huge file and I'd imagine the PS3 version being the same. Both sound stupid. The PS3 is probably the least family oriented, at least in the US. There are more family games and settings for the 360 than the PS3 and the Wii just kills in that department. The PS3 and 360 are both equal in terms of being gamed towards gamers. You might like the 360 better, but it doesn't make it a better console. I also don't think criticizing the PS3 is wise, especially since you admit to not knowing anything about it.

People who use achievements or trophies as a decision to purchase a game or console need to be slapped. That's all I'm going to say about it.

BS on that one. I have a Netflix account and I have connected it to my Xbox Live account. Guess what, Netflix is free on the Xbox live account. You just need to have a Gold account to use it. I've had mine for several years and it hasn't screwed up. Maybe I just know how to take care of my electronic devices. Nobody is jumping ship from the 360 to the PS3. The reason why people are buying the PS3 now is because it is at a more reasonable price; they aren't tossing their consoles aside for it, just adding it to their collection. Most people already owned a 360 and/or a Wii. With the price cut, Sony could finally sell their PS3 (still with a loss in profit) to many more people. So the reason for the rant? Could have just said your opinion. You wouldn't have looked so stupid by trying to muddle facts if you had just stopped there. Are any consoles better overall? Nope. No need to fabricate some lines to back up your own beliefs. Just play whatever game you want and be on your way.

As of 2/18/10, the US leads the medal totals with 5 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze (14 total). Germany is second with 10 medals (3 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze) France is third with 7 (2 gold, 1 silver, 4 bronze) Canada is fourth with 6 (2 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze) Shaun White just kicked the piss out of everyone on the half pipe. The British did. Canada wasn't formed until 1867. During the War of 1812, it was British North America. The troops that burned down the White House were British.
