I have actually seen a few admins who have in the past. Personally, I don't give a damn about the color, but it is pretty weird to be white and admins green when it was the reverse for a long time. It was a bit of a WTF moment when I first looked at the forums today.

It appears that Israel heard the news that the SG forums were hacked into. Upon hearing this, they immediately realized what they were doing was wrong and they threw down their weapons. After the few hours under which SG was hacked, Israel managed to negotiate and sign peace accords with the Iran, Syria, Pakistan, and of course, the Palestinians. This unnamed hacker's actions have greatly improved peace in the Middle East...at least for a few hours. After the site was reclaimed by the distinguished recluse known only as bor3d, the followers of SG returned to their beloved home on the series of tubes we know as the interwebz. Once this was known by the nation of Israel, they decided to forget their past negotiations and literally raise their middle fingers to the sky while shitting on the treaties exclaiming,"BRING IT YOU PUTZNASHERS!" Long story short, who knew the hacker saved most of the middle east, if not the world, by hacking OUR forums. Apparently, SG is the root of all evil and the target of those who seek to bring justice to this world... ...or just a target of a bunch of fucking wackos who didn't get enough hugs from their parents.

Reagan was the first one to return salutes I think. This means Eisenhower didn't return them when he was president, nor did anyone else (or possibly most if I am missing someone). Were all those presidents disrespectful? Not in the least. Some people think that saluting insinuates that you are in the military and some people do not want a president pretending to be a military man when they clearly aren't. People freaked out for a while when Reagan did it (and some didn't even like the technique of the salute), but personally, I don't care if a president does or doesn't salute. The soldier doesn't feel miffed either. His orders are to salute until the president passes or if the president returns the salute. If he did either, somebody would complain about it in some way. My personal opinion is that Obama is getting used to being president at the white house. He has saluted before in Hawaii at the Marine Corps base, so I don't think it isn't a lack of respect. Once he gets familiar with things, he can relax a bit and give a good salute. I am sure a bunch of veterans don't want to see any crappy salutes or people presuming they are military grade right away.
