thats another issue it restarts by itself.. usually when I had bsod in the past I had to restart which gave me time to write down the code.. in this case it stays up for about 5-6 seconds and restarts so I cant really write down. Im thinking of trying to trigger it with my camera next me and take a pic.. EDIT after the last BSOD I was able to install steam and run it!! Next I will run my virus scan see if I get another BSOD.. EDIT it just did it again before I even started the scan.. i was just importing a cd to itunes... I guess next step is finding a way to get the error code.. but the screen seriously stays up less than 5 secs...

So I was peacefully playing JB thursday night... I was tired so I closed the game... I get one of these HL2 error blah blah... Im used to it.. it has happened several times.. I just click ok and move one with my life next time the game just opens...well this time around thing took a drastically different turn RIGHT after I click ok or what ever usually closes the message I got a BSOD restart goes fine... as its opening steam BAM BSOD again... I restart and prevent steam from opening... I start a virus scan and malewarebite scan just in case and go to sleep cause there was a very long day ahead and it was very late.. Next morning I find out that it BDOSed when it was scanning I guess.. I had to leave for work..went out after work got home, went to bed, repeat on saturday.. So here we are sunday night I dont believe it has BDOS for a while I try to run steam and it say program has stopped running and these is a close button... it did that a few times I uninstalled - reinstalled steam same thing keeps happening I decide to just update my iphone... I had been using my comp for several hours messing with music, iphone SSHing and shit NO BSOD.. anyway at 1:00 AM (now monday morning) my antivirus has an auto scan that initiates.. I decide to post this to see if anybody has insight and around 1:10am BAAMMM fucking BSOD as Im writing this... restart steam still DOESNT start...antivirus is booted but not scanning... SO WTF IS GOING ON???? it seems to me the bsod is related to steam but it seems my anti virus might also be involved... Im quite clueless at this point and will try to reinstall steam again... the only thing that has chaged in the past week is the last windows update fucked up my windows and said it was no longer genuine but that was quickly fixed with wratheks help... Its frustrating me badly!!

I understand that but lets be honest here OCZ does have a name its not like some of these other brands out there with 30 dollar 700 watts PSUs... in fact I looked it up on jonnyguru knowing thats what you would have said and for that particular model had had ok things to say... not the best but not the worst! Im not arguing with you, I totally agree Im just making a point that it was not such a bad idea originally and though the PSU was decent it was not nearly the quality of a corsair and the extra 60 bucks were well worth it! If im in the same situation where im lacking money I might go for something cheaper! I didnt really loose money cause I needed a psu for my dell computer ayway so I just put it in there and it does the job just fine!!

I know I know.... But I had to try it out for myself!!! and its not just the PSU. That worked decent..but the cable are super short which made the whole modular thing useless!!! Their customer support sucks and I RMAed it and they sent me back a lower model of the one I originally sent in.. While I was waiting for it I decided to just go ahead and buy the Corsair 650 (non modular unfortunately) but the cable are so long its awesome to play with and works solid! I think I just started getting BSOD yesterday... havent looked into it yet...

The camera sucks (well not really but I like SLRs) but besides that its not a bad deal! The laptop is nice prolly will be able to play source games with mediocre graphics and the TV is decent for a small room! I like it!!

x58 use tri channel as you know... I would have gone 6GB from the start.. OCZ has a name but not the greatest...tbh I think youll eventually regret buying that PSU! I dont know how much you saved but 6 GB from OCZ is pretty cheap that with a 650W corsair PSU would have been plenty power and just as cheap!

whats your average??? From the sounds of it it seems like your having issue with connectivity... you should not be lagging ever playing with that GPU on lower settings...you sess up somewhere

Actually Im interested to see where your coming from with the "shitty nVidia board" because they get good reviews and more people are using them..some of these people are very good with computers.. I know gigabyte and asus have led the market along with msi but it seems nvidia is cracking down with their which are esthetically WAAAYYYY more attractive!!! I would go with an ATI card if I were you or a fermi...260 is old technology by now.. dx11 and eyefinity is the new shit!! EVGA boad is good imo some people have mixed opinions the i7 930 is a great CPU obviously but I think I would sacrfice its greatness and get an i5 750 and invest more in the GPU!!!! or SSD You PSU is good but I still prefer Corsair for one the name, for two they are much nicer looking!!! It counts when you have a window!!! the antec 300 might tight but is a nice case!!! for the HDD Id go with the WD caviar black 640GB it really has excellent reviews!!

Great build! Prolly the most for the money imo!!! Do it if you can! Toxing that thing will have a shit PSU and half crap hdd etc..I dont know why you dont build what I sent you before... its easy as hell!! and a much better case at that!! Just remember with computer you rarely get a "deal" so to speak you most often end up getting what you pay for... Newegg once in a while will have a real deal but its still on individual components.. My PSU went down from 100 to 69 AMIR but its was for a day! dont buy this thing!! You can buy a cheaper more reliable PSU than whats gonna be in that for the same money! And whratek still has his sweet deal on Wndows7 as far as I know so I dont know why your worried!!!

Hey Ps3 players.. So I know I have poor chances to find an answer but I figured Id try.. It really ANNOYS me that I cant access fancast or hulu on my PS3.. these site have been updating to the new flash version making the PS3 obsolete.. The firmware on the PS3 is behind allowing me to watch certains site but not the good ones... I was wondering if someone found a way to by pass this or has an alternative or knows something I dont know to get fancast to work or using another site similar..
