Lux - Seems like the flaming comes more from you than anyone.. I for one like both. I lived in Brasil for a few years and so I watch the Brasilian national team whenever I can as well as I follow some of the Teams in Brasil. (Vasco da Gama, Palmeiras, etc.) HOWEVER, I also enjoy American Football. As to it being "a pussy version of Rugby" (not sure who posted that comment but it was something close to that) in another thread proves that they've never tried playing it full contact with people that know (or at least somewhat know) how it should be played. Get off your high horse. Both are fun to play and can be fun to watch. The very name of this thread shows how closed minded you are to the subject. Get over yourself.

I don't disagree that the US didn't earn the Gold. However, Cheating is cheating and shouldn't be tolerated. They should properly investigate and if proven strip the gold medal. I don't care if the US keeps the silver, it's the act of cheating that shouldn't be tolerated.

Those aren't old enough to be "Classic games" Try River Raid on the Atari 2600 or Super Breakout on the intellivision.

Depends on if the XP drivers needed for your hardware are available. On laptops that can be a bit iffy.. but on desktops you can almost always install XP.

Cloud computing isn't viable (nor will it be any time soon). The reliability and stability of internet connections is nowhere near what it would need to be and won't be for quite some time. We run into problems with high end application servers with just a hand full of users. IE: Citrix, Sun SGD, etc. These types of solutions can work ok but won't be replacing a desktop OS for decades.

I have both a Tipmann 98 Custom and a Tipmann A5 As far as your price range the 98 Custum would fit the bill and is a great gun. It can also be fitted with the upgrade cyclone ball feed and a ton of other customizations down the road.. if you're were willing to spend a bit more I would recommend the A5.

I know I don't have authority to do anything but if a couple of us put together a map list revision and do the leg work I'm pretty sure the AO's will help out with the necessary changes.

I haven't gone anywhere.. whenever I see even 1 person on that server I join if I can. Also anytime I can get 4 or more friends to join I will. I would like to try it as deathmatch and see if it helps out popularity. I'd also like to get rid of the matrix mod.. it was fun for a little while. But after a few days the novelty wore off and I think it now hurts the servers popularity. I will try to put together a maplist as well.. there are some very popular maps that should be added as well as a few server killers that need to go. Max.. My ping sits right about 120 on any of the ZM/SG servers and I've never had it ruin gameplay. To sum up .. I love GG .. and am down to join just about any evening! I wish it were like it used to be back in Nov 07' when I had to wait till a map change to get a slot... (before I knew about the forums & started supporting). I feel like Jessie (aka Riggs) did a ton of damage to the servers popularity and caused a lot of regs to go elsewhere.. he/she banned quite a few regs like FlowRida and RectumMan just because they were better than her. Some people when abused by an admin like that rather than go and appeal just go elsewhere.. unlike the ZombieMod servers we have competition when it comes to GG.. Just my 2 1/2 cents.
