  2. Why Steam Sucks

    "My an idiot", yes.
  3. Why Steam Sucks

You can game on a "Media Access Control"? MAC is not an abbreviation, and as such, should not be capitalized. A Mac = a Macintosh Computer. A MAC = a Media Access Control. They are different. If you say "MAC" when talking about a Macintosh Computer, then you are incorrect.
  4. Yeah sure you can, it's not linked here (except for maybe in your profile). Grats on getting your own Steam account
  5. If you're using ALSA now, you can try "sudo alsamixer" for a nice little CLI-like volume control. Make sure those values are high enough. Only thing I dislike about Ubuntu, and GNU/Linux in general, is the sound support. Other than that, it's a nice OS for the most part.
  6. Sorry, I paste it every time :V Anyways, what are you using? Pulse-audio, or ALSA, or some other weird variant? If you're using 10.04, I think it comes packaged with Pulse instead of ALSA. Need to know more about your sound setup. Using a USB headset? Normal 3.5mm jack? Using more than 1 sound-card? etc.
  7. Yeah, seeing the SFW version of goatse isn't fun
  8. Because it IS SG ;) Cool.
  9. I asked about this before ( http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=33829 )
  10. Too bad it doesn't work on VBulletin
  11. HAHAHAHAHA CANADA IS TURNING INTO AUSFAILIA'S INTERNET Caps suck, you should see if you can get an unlimited plan anywhere around your area. Greedy ISPs are horrible and you shouldn't pay their excess bandwidth fees.
  12. It ended a loooong time ago, Newfriend.
  13. 49 posts left for wut :O

  14. CSS Update, WTF!

To be honest, you can blame the Mac users The only reason why Valve is going through editing the old source code is for the Mac users.
  15. Tile it, and make sure it supports animation, and you have a nice wallpaper
  16. Loooooong since dead. All the cool kids use .fr
  17. all these newfags

They all mad because I am stylin' on them.
  18. Yeah, probably a bug in the latest hlds_linux release then. Thanks!
  19. Heh, thought it was obvious as it's in the questions section for SG servers, not offtopic. Doesn't matter anymore! Nope. It just doesn't add any. I lurked on the hlds_linux mailinglists for a bit tonight, and it looks like a recent update borked it.
  20. I can move around fine with a wired mouse, dunno what you're talking about Bob
  21. Lol, I was asking about Steamgamer's servers Running a gameserver with SRCDS. I thought this was true as well, but it's not auto adding mine. Nope. I thought it was supposed to auto-add masterservers, but I guess it doesn't. When I don't add these commands, I am not on the masterserver. If I add them, it's on the masterserver.
  22. Windows, or GNU/Linux? Basically I am wondering due to my own test servers I am trying to run being a major PITA. They are GNU/Linux, and if I don't: autoexec it, the server won't show on master-server, which really sucks. Do you guys have that in your server's cfg files, or is the problem on my end, or what?
  23. Well I have seen the list 100% full once........ is it some weird "feature" of Zombie mod that will put spectators into the CT team, but because they don't really exist on it, it will count them, but you can't see? Or what?
  24. Incorrect. Google logs all searches. They often give away bulk logs for a query if requested to by law enforcement agencies. So yeah, you might get your IP seen by a law enforcement person if Google gets a request for all "" image requesters; but I doubt they would do anything about it. Thankfully most law enforcement agencies are after uploaders of illegal content, not as much at downloaders. Downloaders aren't directly harming anything, but the uploaders are. tl;dr, you're probably safe. If you get a partyvan in your driveway, you shouldn't have anything to fear, unless you saved that illegal shit. Aye, honeypots. Google does not run any, but links indexed on Google often are.
  25. You mean "onion" (not gonna post the rest obviously, but it begins with 'onion')? It's from Torchan, which has a lot of illegal stuff on it, that Google indexes for some weird reason. Just report the thread and move on. If you're still scared, just report the search query to Google or something. inb4 people ask me how I know this
