Ok, this problem just started recently. I will explain the events in which they happened.

1. After the TF2 update I had tried to join a pipeline server and then Steam crashed.

2. After numerous times of me trying to do this it kept crashing so I tried going into another server and check if it was just that server I was having a problem with. It wasn't. It was every server.

3. That night I went to play CSS and when I click to join a server it'll bring up the loading bar then in less then a second it'll boot me back to the "find a server" menu.

4. When I minimize it it will most likely crash Steam. When it doesn't crash steam it will come back up like the normal menu but the background, instead of the dude with the gun, its like the black and purple checkers!

5. I can't join any server in any steam games.

HELP please!

Thanks,

Target

I suggest restarting your computer.

If that hasn't worked, re-install steam. (Since it'd be such a hastle to install ALL those games.)

Make sure you delete ALL the content from CSS and TF2.(And any other game your experiencing a problem with.)

I suggest you put a support ticket out NOW. They usually take awhile to respond back.

What about deleting TF2 and re download it?

"Yup tried both"

That's telling me he tried it.

Still, put a support ticket out. They can help with everything and anything.

(However, it'll take them a week to answer back. o.o

That's because Valve gets 1000 complaints a second 24/7.
