After all the hassle of a broken graphics driver (and reinstalling my whole computer), now for some reason css won't launch

It installs fine, the cache verifys ok, but when i click on it to launch, it goes "css is loading" screen for a few seconds, then nothing.

I've tried running it as admin, running it in compatability mode, running it windowed, logging in and out of steam, restarting, deleting the client registry.blob, reinstalling cs:s, reinstalling cs:s and steam.

My pc is nearly fully updated, the only updates i am avoiding are the graphics driver updates dated just before my pc fucked up (i believe these are what caused my problems).

I've tried surfing the net and steamforums for my problems, but no help.

Can anyone help me?

If it doesn't work again, try another Steam program if you have one, just to see if its a CSS issue, or a Steam issue. If nothing is opening, try another game altogether. If no game works, it could be because the game is opening to another window because of your graphics card's ability to run dual system operations on two or more screens. I know mine had a problem like that because I fucked around with the settings.

I tried deleting everything (as in all the steam and cs:s fles) and reinstalling, and it hasn't worked.

Not sure about the dual screen thing, as the game does not come up as running under task manager

Ok, as of now it seems to be working. I installed a graphics driver patch that i was holding off on, as i though it might of caused my previous errors. Hopefully it'll be fine though

The reason it might not come under processes is because the graphics card is able to run literally 2 sessions of Windows at the same time, so you can get 2 PC's out of one. But if it's working now, no worries lol
