ya but it depends on how heavy you're going to use it. If you're going to games using the Source Engine, Unreal Engine.. really old engines basically-- you'll be fine with a decent CPU and Ram Sticks.

Bought it with my computer some years ago. I wonder if it Would run smooth with GTA 4

 

Absolutely no chance.

 

In the System Requirements on the site, it says 7900 GS to be the bare minimum with a C2D 1.8GHz and 1.5GB of RAM on Vista. This means that if you meet these standards, you will be running the game on all low barely bordering 30-50fps.

They eye can only register 30 fps. So ;P

 

Wrong. I used to think it was 30 also, but someone proved me wrong. It is actually around 120-200. Some people can register more.

The easiest way to disprove this myth is to ask people if they thought old CRT monitors were "flickery". If they say yes it means they just admitted to being able to see the individual frames of something refreshing 60 times a second.

I'm pretty sure that GTA4 is so poorly optimized nothing can actually run it decently.
