In Regards To Fur.

Its a very unorthodox fetish plaguing the humans in many first world countries where they have an obsession with human-hybrid animals (think ducktales or goof troop characters), except they find these creatures so personally appealing that they believe they are "one of them", secretly if possible, but mostly out loud, much to the dismay of the rest of us.

 

Add to this an often deep felt desire to dress in pieced together animal costumes (see Fursuit), make animal noises as random, generate badly drawn animal/human hybrid pornography (Called "yiff", and it is disturbing) and/or a penchant for other debauched ideas.

 

Normally, I would not give a flying rats ass about someone else's interests or fetish, but furries tend to put it out there in a manner that forces others to comment. When the comments are not exactly to their liking, they go apeshit at you yelling about "Fursecution" and discrimination, often with a tirade of insults claiming you are a racist, "fur-phobe", or other colorful terms.

 

In my opinion, it would not be such an exasperating problem if they were not so greatly offended by people's reaction to their choice of activities. I've seen much stranger and sicker things on the internet, but whereas the "bald Midget BDSM Unicycle riding, paint shitting lesbian hemaprhodite" crowd will either keep to themselves, or shrink away when confronted about public display of said odd shit, the furries will scream, yell, and cry that the "mundanes" (Way to antagonize people who DON'T want to stare at pictures of a water buffalo in a diaper, call them an insulting term...) do not accept them or understand them, and each of them is different and , and and TL,DR.

 

Basically, everything polka said here is completely accurate, sadly however, there is an odd movement seeking to make this perfectly acceptable, rather than rooting it out for the scourge that it really is.

 

There are kids on this website, if a person cant post aforementioned odd pornography, sexually charged images of man-horse-jellyfish hybrids should remain out of bounds as well, or at a minimum, the persons with the interests in question should be required to follow a "don't ask, don't tell' policy to avoid flamewars and other net-shenanigans...

 

In the end, try to cover it up as you wish, but Furry ANYTHING is essentially VERY volatile flame bait.

The statement of 'I'm a furry' by Potshot and Legal's definitions shows us that it can also be applied to saying something such as 'I'm a homosexual', while I have nothing against homosexuals, if a person insisted on informing everyone in the community on a daily basis how much he enjoys dick, it's disturbing on many levels.

 

We have rules against sexual content, so shouldn't furry porn, or talking about being a furry excessively be bannable?

 

If the person wanted to say it while there was a conversation going on about sexual preference, I would assume it's okay, but to just randomly say it in the middle of someones conversation? To say it just because the chatbox has died down? To randomly bring it up for no reason, whatsoever, just to see who replies to it?

 

It's not needed, and highly not welcomed by the most of the community.
