I just bought that second router today and dont know what your problem is andree...you might have used it for a different purpose than routing(im not gonna say what) cause as far as im concern it does the job well!

I've been through 2 Linksys and have had no problems with either one.

I'm not talking about the specific company, I'm talking about the specific routers. I used to own a Linksys router too. I use Belkin now though.

i was actually looking at linksys ive heard their routers arent bad

im just trying to download my "stuff" faster and ive got an old netgear which has served me well over the past few years but its getting old

Linksys is owned by cisco, get a gigabit/wireless-N UFO and if you need more ports use a switch.
