Anyone know good ways to train an american pit bull terrier?

Ok so yesterday my mum bought me a new born american pit bull terrier for an early xmas/going away present. She is two days old.

 

I know pit bulls can be dangerous but my family had one when i was a newborn and i know when they are trained correctly can be like the best dogs ever.

 

So yeah I got the puppy on one condition. I gotta train her and get everything for her myself.

 

So can anyone give me some tips on training? I read that positive training works best but I'd like some more input.

Pit bulls can be one of the nicest dogs.

You just got to train them well and make her feel at home.
