Hackers are sending messeges that look like there coming from someone on your friends list saying "steam announces free game give away" with a link to what looks like a "new" steam community wich is what it says. DONT LOGG IN all your doing is "filling" out your account to be hacked. the loggin will take your steam name and password and get your account. after "logging in" it brings you to steampowered.com making it look as if nothing ever happened. It's not hacking...it's phishing. If you get fooled, it is your fault, so people just need to use common sense. Link to comment
