I'm doing a report on Video game addiction.

What do you think.

Is it real or is it all in the head.

For me, i would think only for certain people.

I think its 50/50.

Some people can control it and some cant.

My mother tells me you guys dont have lives or jobs.

lol

ppl dont know they are addicts simply couse they enjoy it and dont c the harm

we have other things to do indeed , they most of time dont care , first you gotta really know that you are an addict couse addicts dont know so ppl that know this can control it (except some , they just really dont care )

...Bitch, anyways, I think it's all just in the head. This is because your mind adjusts to the thing so much that it pretty much becomes a regular thing. But sometimes your mind just wants more and more (like mine :3) so you can't really stop unless you go to some kind of rehab, btw I have heard that some cost over thousands with game addictions, but then again, it was on the radio.

As for your Mom.. Let her know that quite a few of use hold down full time jobs. In my case I have a full time+ job year-round. Work a part time job during the summer and have multiple contract jobs that I work periodically. (Somehow I still find time to post here and play games) I also have 2 kids and a wife that want my time to be spent on them.

That being said. Yes there can be an addiction factor to video games. (some types are more addictive than others)

There is a really good book that talks a lot about video games and addiction that shows both sides called "Everything bad is good for you." I would highly recommend you look it up.

Well... I guess if you played 80 hours the past 2 weeks, i guess your a little addicted :b So i pretty much think that u can get addicted, but not the same way as with smokes, drugs or alcohol. Though there was some korean guy who played like 50 hours straight, ofc went to the toilet sometimes, and well... he died...
