Really wierd thing I got here. So when my laptop was CD-booted. It deleted everything so I re-installed CSS etc.

When I go in-game, everything works fine, but I can't communicate through mic. When I press k, the audio thingy doesn't even appear. What shall I do to fix? I tried editing the key but that didn't help...

I also wonder how I can change my console button, since my keyboard is a bit different. (~) doesn't work.

My microphone works in general... I think. Just not on CSS.

And I remember Anomo saying to me that I could change console key to f12. Just don't remember how.

To open the console, go in your Steam gamelist.

0) First open Counter Strike Source, Go to Options and go to "Keyboard" tab, then click on "Advanced" and then "Enable developpers console", then close Counter Strike Source...

1) Open "MyGames"

2) Rightclick on "CounterStrike-Source" where you launch your game.

3) Click on "Properties" in that list that appears (normally it's below)

4) Then look in the "General Tab", you will see "Set Launch options.."

5) Click on it and type "-console" in it. (without the "")

6) Open CSS and you will see it enabled ;)

That would solve the console problem.

Now for your mic.

Look if it's the right mic you added to css,

Go in Counter strike source, click on "Options" and then "Voice", then click on "Enable voice in this game" then test your microphone.

Hopefully this helped you out ;)

..If you want to change console bind:

Bind "your button here :O" toggleconsole

It might be something like -toggleconsole, but I'm not sure.

Lol, all that console statements, I already know. (ops Yoda talk.) And it didn't help. Thx anyways.

But Anomo is a real good technichan in this case then, he made me open console whenever I wanted, wherever I wanted, in-game with the button f12 or whichever button you choose to edit from.

I will try the mic suggestions soon and will post results.

I'll try that too. I think its "bind f12 console" for me.

That console works always, i use AZERTY so we don't have that "~" button, just do it right

Go open your config and search with CTRL+F to look for that console thingy.

Normally you will find it.

I use:

bind "f1" "toggleconsole", console is not command i think?

That "button next to 1" must be american thing, since i have never got anything to work with that.
