Mic Transmit Volume Issue

Is there anyway i can turn my mic OUTPUT volume for CSS? Because whenever i go to the CSS options and slide the Voice transmit volume down and hit apply, it goes right back up to the highest settings..

try going on your actual steam settings and changing the voice there. works for me.

yea. my voice is still really loud.. i dont think it does anything.

mine fluxes,sometimes it'll work,others all it puts out is static.must be my mic.

Bottom right of taskbar, right click on the sound button.

then levels, then change the slider

Open volume control

recording, then OK. change that slider.
