Headset Mic

Alright. So I just bought the headset that Mystique recommended about a week ago, and just started using my mic a few days ago. The problem is, sometimes it works perfectly, while other times (just for a few seconds, I believe), it turns into pure static. [i'm really not sure, people seem to tell me that I have to repeat myself as they have no clue what I just said.]

 

So, I've searched out drivers for the headset, and it has none. I've made sure everything's plugged in properly - nothings loose. Here's the headset I got.

 

Any suggestions?

LOL thats my headset. I have same issue so I use a webcam mic for now. You could send it back if you have a warranty. My wire is too tangled for me to send it back xD

I could never even get the mic to work at all when I had that headset. Sent it back.

Now you guys going to listen when I say in every freakin thread about headsets or microphones to avoid things that are gimmicky or "gamer" branded somehow?

While this is true, Shadow did suggest the sennheiser 555 in your thread and at the time there was several other threads about headsets which he had already posted in about gaming headsets being craps. These threads were on the first page or close to it..

And I remember that why? cause I was about to tell you that creative headset sucked cause it was uncomfortable after a hour or so of gaming which is part of most reviews but I had already posted that in one of the said thread...

 

Now RMA or return or spend the money you should have spent in the first time on a name brand headset!!!!
