AMD goes 6 core!!!

yeah but they're from Intel :confused:

 

and it's Octo-core

 

So isn't AMD a little behind then? lol what would be the point of introducing a 6 core processor if they are already beaten out with an 8 core processor.

actually the Intel 1 is not really and original Octo-core, they are 2 quad-core stuck together, whilst AMD is a 6 core they all are seperate cores, or something like that, it was the same fror the Core 2 Quad from Intel, those were 2 duo-core stuck togther.

 

so i think that the 6-core from AMD is better then the Octo-core from Intel

I don't think many games benefit from 4 cores yet, let alone 6. Although this would be great for multitaskers and those who work with video editing.

 

(Don't Valve games have some trouble with multiple cores?)

.... not to mention that you get 6 separate cores at 3.2GHz all for $309.99 and Free Shipping! Intel can't give you that all for $300!
