I am looking a for the best one i can get for less that $500 (just gonna be used for email, web, and thats it). The person i am looking for likes bargins so i Just thought Id see if you find something that i might have missed. Maybe a GB of ram here, or some hard drive speed there... otherwise similar. Personally, I'd go with a dual-core, so I'd go with the first link you gave because it also comes with 4GB of ram and a faster HDD speed. If your friend doesn't use a laptop for many powerful apps, like just checking email, writing documents, watching videos, then save 50 bucks and go for 1 less GB of ram and a slower (and quieter) hard drive with the second laptop. Again, nothing really wrong with the third and fourth, but I prefer dual-core to help with multi-tasking (which many people tend to do now). Link to comment
