I would like to find one that is cheap but, still has nice mic quality, sound quality, and durability so it can withstand my nerd rages/rage quits/and all around rage. I'm looking for one within the $30 - $70 category. I can go up to $100 if it is worth it completely Link to comment
trakaill Posted May 12, 2010 Content Count: 3736 Joined: 11/30/07 Status: Offline Share Posted May 12, 2010 search box on the forums... I RARELY and Id like to emphasize RARELY tell someone that cause its really lame but...we ve answered this question so many times... Basically dont get anything labeled as gaming if you want quality... surround sound in a headset is ridiculous and not worth crap compared to decent headphones.. get a decent desk mic ok line mic like zalman makes... Sony has nice headsets and very comfy at decent price but the wire is short.. Sennheiser makes a good product. I have the HD555 and Im very pleased with it... Link to comment

I got them for $50 or so when they were on sale. Surround sound isn't the best quality (obviously) but not crap. I'm certainly not disappointed. I really love the mic though. I haven't explored much in the way of headsets though, just find one that gets good reviews and has the features you want. Link to comment

If your looking towards using the headset for gaming purposes get the siberia v2 where as for just general use go with what trakaill suggested. Link to comment
