My Mic is Too Quiet

Well, the title says it all. Mic volume is all the way up in windows and on steam and it still isn't loud. Any ideas?

umm. go into you volume settings, mic stuff, and see if boost is on and its up ALL the way and unmuted via the uh volume control

try it on steam setting, my mic got muted through there some how and it didnt work in any games.

it is that simple. i promise. if you have a creative sound card, check there for boost as well.

 

No offense, but you deserve this for such a smart-ass remark: if you "knew how to use a computer", you'd never ask anything, ever.

try putting the mic closer to your mouth. my brother literaly sticks the mic inside his mouth when he talks.
