Sony > Dell

I'm sorry Labarr.. but this is pure bullshit.

I have worked on a ton of Sony laptops for work including I have owned/used for both work and personal use both a PCG-TR5AP and a VGN-TR series ultra-light Sony laptop. Sony is the worst laptop manufacturer when it comes to odd support and install issues. Trying to do a format and clean install of an OS on a Sony device is a fucking nightmare. Not to mention 1/2 the time they refuse to give you downloads for drivers and instruct you to run the recovery util to get to a "clean state" Giving you a metric shit ton of useless shite on your laptop. If there were a single company I would have to recommend avoiding when buying a laptop it would be Sony. I would take a Mac over a Sony even if you plan on gaming I feel that strongly about it.

gaming

laptop

good

You must pick only one!

Anyways, to not be a complete troll with this post...:

Why do you require a laptop?

What are you going to use the laptop for, other than "gaming"?

What sort of games are you going to play on it?

What setting level are you going to use?

How long will the typical session you spend on it be?

How long do you expect to use the laptop until you will consider ``upgrading''/buying a new one?

Most importantly, what is your budget?
