I would say the most convenient is Spanish in the sense of it will help a lot once you're looking for a job. You mentioned you will be going for medicine, do you mean MD specifically? Either way knowing some Latin terms will definitely help in some medical terminology. But I don't believe you need to learn the whole dam language.

Go for Portuguese, learning it you will understand most spoken and written Spanish...

Yes I will be going for my M.D. I do hope to be like my grandparents, both highly regarded doctors who saved and helped a lot of people including my own mother. I hope to study anesthesia and become a general surgeon. In my junior year of high school I'll be taking EMT Training or a Medical Professions class to get some foundation laid in terminology and procedures.

French is a fun and easy language. The only thing that I think is annoying is remembering all of the irregular/regular verbs.

Emt is definently a good idea they'll teach you a good basic amount of terminology

i would suggest to go with Japanese or Spanish.

 

Latin is dead, and people don't use it anymore not even for medicine.

 

Learned it for 4 years in school and it was but a waste of time.
