It calls very well, it's more of a vacuum, allowing the heat to escape, instead of pushing it back against the laptop. Very very solid structure, no "legs" that can break off, and a solid bottom, which allows you to put it on your lap without cables or fans hitting your leg. A good buy in my opinion, and for $30 well worth the money.
