Is the copy of the OS legit? Have you done an anti-virus/spyware/malware scan?

Yap, you'll have to delete and format the partitions already created (xp) but yea, as simple as that..

I'd say boot them up with the Win7 disk, when it asks you what partition you want to install on, go advanced. delete all current partitions and format and then install
