Agreed with Jaffa. Although you do get skins/reserved slots with supporter and you get all the admin perks, as well as the responsibility when you get to that point, the main reason of all of this is to keep up cash flow to keep the servers/forum running.

Either you can copy/paste the map files you have or wait and have them re-downloaded in game as you join a server.

As for the choices on the list, without being bias towards my own slogan, I feel as though they are all lacking, and some seem unoriginal. At this point my vote would be more of a settle since there is no "none of the above" option.

So, here's the thing. Currently I am borrowing my mom's early 90's Ford Taurus PoS (In part because it has much better gas mileage than my Chevelle, and partly because I have collector's plates). Anyways, I was on a decent stretch of road, which is just about 1/4 mile long, maybe a little more, last night, and I'm at a light next to this Hummer H3 that wasn't wanting to let me pass it earlier on, so I give the car a little gas, and he responds. Once we reached about 60 (In a 35 btw) I cranked it to about 75 and passed him. He got pissed so he tried to come back around me in the turn lane, so I let him back in his lane, then floored it to the max on the speedometer, and then some, beating him to the next light after a bit of a straightaway. I laughed for a while since I felt the car was just going to explode when I maxed it, and the wife was cracking up too since she got to watch the H3 try and maneuver and the speedometer the whole time. I'm presenting this story since I'm curious if anyone else out there has any street racing stories or any vehicular related thrill stories. If so, do share!

My personal defunct pixel shows up white and is roughly two inches right and one inch up from the center of my display with a 1280 x 800 display. It sucked at first, but I dont really care now. Given your situation, I would say just stick with what you got, because you never know, you might have more pixels dead on your new one. It's a game of chance my friend. Roll the dice and see where the future takes you.

So far chrome loads slower than firefox for me so I am sticking with firefox for now. Also, I'd like to see it out of beta before I give it another real try.

I've thought about experimenting with overclocking. Good thing I also thought of putting a nice coolant system in it. Crazy people, those french techies.

Deleting them seemed to fix most things. One thing is though that I can no longer see sprays. How do I fix this? Oh, and if I purchased the game electronically, I can uninstall then steam lets me download again? Just clarifying that. Don't want to go wanting.

I'm now forced to concede the fact that while attempting to tweak some CS:S settings within my autoexec.cfg file, I have indeed screwed things to the point where the game is crappier and I cannot reverse these changes no matter what I try. Does anyone know where I can get an autoexec file that completely sets CS:S to default, or know of any other way to fix this? Help greatly appreciated.
