  4. $30 They do events, but as far as like...constant content and fixing issues with balancing among the perks, they haven't touched it in forever. As it stands currently, there are only 3 perks that actually matter at all. Firebug, Medic, Sharpshooter. You can literally beat nearly every difficulty with an even number of those 3 perks and you have no need for any others. Beserkers fall off HARD past wave 6-7 in harder difficulties, Commando has a major ammo issue on HoE, even if you aim for headshots only. That isn't to mention that Commando high-tier guns cost a lot even at 6 (Roughly 1k for both), while it's cheaper than some other perks, you are severely handicapped as a damage dealer until you get them, the AK is your only viable option before them and it's not that great. You can argue that you could drop Sharpshooter for Demo, but Demo also has a major ammo issue in HoE and Suicidal, unless you purposefully save your ammo for specific instances, you run out easily. Support is honestly hit or miss, you could substitute one firebug for a support, but they are heavily map dependent. A Support is a lot of burst on the larger mobs and make killing fleshpounds/scrakes easy when they're paired with a sharp/demo, but they run out of ammo quickly when they do that. Firebug is so far ahead of every other perk in nearly every aspect it's disgusting. Their ammo and weapons cost basically nothing, their end-tier gun is given to them at wave 1, their damage is insane, their clear is crazy good, and if you get the DLC for the flare revolvers, you can almost single handedly kill scrakes and fleshpounds with the pistols alone. If you play Hard or easier, Commando is the god of getting the kills, Suicidal and higher, I don't think I've ever not been like...100-200+ kills above everyone else as a Firebug. I honestly think if the whole team was good enough, 4 Firebugs and 2 medics could beat any HoE map easily. That is not constant support for a game when the perks are so unbalanced with each other. Individually, they are really nice and all is well, but when you start comparing, they're unbalanced. Commando is supposed to be the perk that takes out all the trash mobs (Clots/Stalkers/Crawlers) in 1-2 shots and rack up the kills. Support is supposed to clear out large groups quickly. Sharpshooter is huge burst damage with headshots to kill the big mobs as fast as possible. Beserker is meant to be sort of front-line sustained damage and kiting which is nearly useless and impossible at HoE levels. Demo is supposed to be an combination of Sharpshooter and Supporter, clear and damage to big mobs. Firebug does every single one of these jobs, cheaper, faster, and more efficiently. Also, to give an example of how the game is not properly updated, Firebugs are supposed to have a 100% immunity to Fire, which is supposed to make them take no damage from Husk launchers. They still take damage from it and have since forever, it's never been fixed/changed to state they aren't immune to it.
  5. It's been that way forever. Also, you can get it on Steam, Mandeemoo. Just search it and it shows it's early access is 21st.
  6. Bring MC Back

Update on this: We're working out some details and getting ideas together to possibly bring MC back. Not going to state 100% it's coming back just yet, but we are looking at seriously taking a look at how we would implement another MC.
  7. Much hyperoni.
  8. Bring MC Back

I will start a thread in the AO section to discuss this and see what we can work out.
  9. Try to use @XeNo to make sure I notice your question. Honestly, no, because we would like Supporter to become something else as stated. It would be nice for it to become a level system of like Bronze->Gold Supporter based on how much you've donated total or something along those lines.
  10. 10/10 you got me buddy nice trollin
  11. There should be a TTT event where several maps will be tested.
  12. Lmfao. 10/10 i cri evry tim
  13. We switched dedi's, cut some other costs in other areas.
  14. We will discuss package deals at the CA+ meeting tomorrow.
  15. Extra cheese 6 cheese blend with pepperoni, sausage, ham, extra bacon, meat, extra bacon again.
  16. Snorlax literally gives zero fucks about where he is or what he's doing. Oh, he's sleeping in your way? Too fucking bad, you have to gO ON AN ENTIRE FUCKING GODDAMN QUEST TO FIND A MYSTICAL ITEM JUST TO MOVE HIS ASS. I would reiterate my question of, "Then how are they going to get Supporter?". The original argument was that Supporter shouldn't be taken away or diminished because not everyone can convince someone to donate $5 a month for perks. If you can't get $5 you aren't getting $20, so the argument is rather invalid and contradicts itself a bit.
  17. That's fucking stupid. I would never wear that tie.
  18. They already lost reserved slot.
  19. Supporter gets 1 skin per team when they're added and a bit of perks over regular players like 1-2 chat colors, name color in TTT, small other perks in DarkRP. This seems kind of decent in terms of perks you keep permanently and they never go away. It's not meant to be something you strive to achieve, it's now meant to just recognize those who have donated quite a bit over their time here at SG. I'm confused by your comment about 13 year olds who don't have PayPal or a credit card, because you need to donate $20 to get Supporter in the first place? The only thing we're moving away from is giving good perks permanently to a rank that never goes away after you donate a rather miniscule amount in the grand scheme of things. Instead they now just get kinda decent perks permanently while those who choose to donate every month will be rewarded substantially more for their continued commitment and support for our community. Instead of donating once for $20 and basically having everything they care about and it never goes away.
  20. It is a good idea, just not viable considering there is no way of automating it and is entirely reliant on Caution or one of us BDs to verify the payment reoccurred when it should and then manually give you Subscriber again.
  21. This would currently have to be done manually and that is not something we want to do, until we can get DragonByte to modify the plugin for this scenario, we don't want to implement this.
  22. Hello everyone! So in an effort to remain as transparent as we can with you guys, we updated the community monthly goals to reflect our current needs. This is not the exact costs, we put in a bit of room for profits as well to provide for giveaways/improvements to plugins and various other things. The new goal is: $175, a little more than half what we used to require (Previous goal offered little room for profits as well). We will be updating our Donate page to show exactly what we pay for monthly and where your money is going to help us out, for now I will give a quick rundown of our costs so you guys can see them upfront: Note: Keep in mind these are monthly costs -New fastdl $7.99 -Database hosting $9.99 -6core VPS $74.99 -Extra 2gb RAM $10 -Teamspeak $100.00 per year (/12 = $8.33333333 per month) -Our original IP's $12 Total Cost per Month: $123.3033333~ (x1.5 for 1/2 in profits: $184.95499999995) We discussed a bit yesterday at the meeting it should be more in profits ($175 or just under 1/2 monthly costs in profits, 141.93% our costs to be exact) to cover all the giveaways and improvements we'd like to do for the community. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT REOCCURRING SUBSCRIBERS DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE GOAL METER (This is being worked on) @TheVirus Due to the amazing support of all our Subscribers, we are making roughly $165 a month from them alone, this is nearly 95% of our monthly goal. ============================================= This being said, our Supporter rank is being changed to be more about recognizing those who have donated a substantial amount to the community. It is also losing its Reserved Slot for life perk, this perk is instead going to be given to Subscribers and SA+ ranks. Supporter more than likely will change to be some kind of award given to those who donate a large amount towards the community. I currently have a ribbon as an example of an award that may be given out for accumulating a large amount of donations. The exact amount required to get Supporter is yet to be decided, but we are currently thinking $50-$100 or higher. All current Supporters will keep their rank. Rather than try to explain all the possible angles to why we're changing Supporter, I will be answering any questions you guys have about why we're doing it in more detail if anyone would like more details.
  23. I am uploading a recording now. I will edit this post when it's processed and available. If I get time I will create some bulletpoints of what was discussed, or if someone else would like to that would be greatly appreciated. I will keep in mind for future meetings to jot down notes of what gets discussed or ask someone else to since I end up talking a lot. Edit: Rl5WOVcPWGY
  24. Really sorry about this, but I just got informed my work schedule will have me working on Saturdays, so I changed the date to Sunday to ensure I can be there. If any BD is willing to take over the meeting for me then it can go back to being on Saturday, but I will be unable to be there and usually I am the driving force behind the meeting so I switched it to Sunday for now.
  25. Updated some of the agenda stuff. Nah, our Community-wide meetings last roughly same as CA meetings, sometimes shorter. Usually we get the stuff on agenda discussed and out of the way, then we tell people they're welcome to stay and listen to questions but not necessary.
