  1. If you play with it a little more, I think the bits that make it unique will become more apparent. For instance, once people figure out how death soccer works,(hint you control it via the control room) they should have alot more fun with it. Also, the theater locks(is unlocked on the first round, and unlocks randomly by itself on round start) normally, and it takes the harvesting of all the loose melons in the farm to unlock it. Thats the first mission objective/reward Ive seen implemented in pb, so you know, that should be worth some funs. Also this map had alot of design based around gameplay, so once people learn the ins and outs of it, it should make for good times.

  4. Here is the new version- http://www.filedropper.com/babutcherstationb3fix Im currently hard at work on a smaller and tighter version of this map. It drops a few features in an effort to tie the map together, thus making the map more playable on smaller servers.

  6. Linking the keys to guns also give folks the chance to troll, if its just attached to a breakable then there is no way to be dick. Also Im trying to shave time off the map, if I made the humans have to carry all 6 clues back to the door by hand, I might be adding alot more time to the gameplay. As it stand, with a default 9 min round limit, no one was able to come close to finishing the map. However, I would like to see a tutorial for linking keys to guns, as there is another feature in the map that I need to use that for. I could never get the key/gun trick to work in the past, so if you know a link or could quickly sum up how its done, I could give it a shot. The method I knew of involved alot of trigger and filter tricky as css does not like to remember entity names of stuff once its been picked up by the player. If there exist now a simple fix for this please let me know.

  7. forgot to move some light mdls when I expanded the factory portion of my map, ive changed the download link, new version is ba_butcherstation_b3fix. Also, a little info on my map- while it seems large, half of the maps is closed off every round, So this is kinda like 2 maps in one. Both sides are never open at the same time. Think of it as a prison with different activities depending on what day of the week it is. map contains- soccer field church/ lr room gas chamber cafe pool arcade workout room knife fight pit disco working factory

So almost 2 years later Ive managed a simple fix, and many visual improvements. Hope you guys will give it another shot. Also I have plans to scale down the size of this map quite a bit, but I would like to see some testing and get some feed back before I start on another big project like that.   20. population on a new map will always be low at first. People fear change and hate learning new things. Thats why the most successful map type on our server has been various clones of electric. Give new maps a fair chance, and give these lazy bastards a chance to learn a new map, whether they want to or not =b
  21. My new map has a working movie theater. almost done =). On topic though, alc is not that bad. You have to remember that this is pb with its star map being electric, in my opinion a horrible horrible map that was bad to began with, and has gotten really old over time. alcatraz looks nice, and is completely different from electric in every way. Keep it. It adds much needed variety. and water jail is with out a doubt the worst map on the server.
  22. I really think we should be adding more maps, as it is I can barley stand to play on the maps that are in current rotation. Also it seems like a 1/3 of the maps on rotation are electric, so variety is greatly needed. We should at least try this out.
