  1. Glad to hear the first match went well! If you guys need anything just let Spiked or I know and we will try to get everything organized. Also in terms of scheduling, we are going to be very flexible so do your best to get specific times so we can block that time off to prevent overlapping matches with other teams wanting to play. If you can't manage a time with the team you are scheduled to play then let us know and we will work something out. Finally, do your best to get the matches that you have scheduled done first, but if you guys really feel anxious to play more of the games listed on your schedule then we can simply get the round robin completed faster. But keep us in the loop with the matches getting scheduled so we can keep it organized.
  2. Yup, you are welcome to join them. Also I believe Spartan was added to Griffin's team and I will play more as a substitute as I won't have much time this upcoming month due to work and school obligations.
  3. Everything is updated in the first post including the revised schedule. All this will probably be reflected on the scrim league page soon. Please at this time contact the captain of the team you are facing. You are required to complete these games in a week time frame and you play 2 maps per opponent and those will constitute as "games." You can play them back to back or spread them out over the week. Your choice between you and the other captain. Either team can be home or away first just pick between yourselves and go from there. Maps and sides can of course be decided in advance of your match as well if you choose to do so. Please, as soon as you determine your time contact either me or Spiked so we can update the page with your match time so other teams don't schedule for the same time. Remember once you complete your match also submit your scores to either me or Spiked, it would be best to probably just PM them to both of us so that if one of is around we can update it right away. Because we just got the server up today you don't have to start playing until Saturday and the matches will be need to be completed by the following Saturday. If you want to play before that, feel free just let me or Spiked know. Finally, if you and another team want to play ahead of schedule then go ahead, but you MUST complete the matches scheduled for the week. Otherwise you'll receive a forfeit for those matches. But again you must keep us updated. Other than that the original post of course has the rules for the event. Let me know if there are any additional questions. Also, we have changed the rules so that we are going to have overtime now in the round robin. Typical 6 rounds, 3 each side. Once again, good luck and let me know if you need anything!
  4. I'm not in charge of managing the server as I am not an AO+, but I was told there was a config loaded on the server but I cannot recall which one.

  8. Simply any exploits of maps and gameplay that are not intended to be available in the normal course of the game. Really there shouldn't be any available that I can think of but just to make sure it is covered the rule was included.

  14. We are working hard to get some stuff put together. Hopefully we will have some more information coming very soon along with the server this weekend. I may be pretty busy these next couple of days but i'll try to get more info out on Sunday with the rules, scheduling, and how other things will work. EDIT: Also we will probably start around June 1st. So a week from this Monday.

Is there a time available either today or sometime in the next couple of days that all the captains could meet so we can start the draft? @Pan32 @PingPong @Fishey @Noobster @Malibu @Griffin Also one thing I would like from everyone is an idea of the maps that should be in the rotation. Obviously nuke was taken out of the active list but it is still highly played. Also if train should be added because even though it is on the active list it isn't highly played compared to the others. I am cool with whatever and will most likely include them all but was wondering everyone's feelings on that.   20. We most likely won't start until the first week of June unless we get everything done real quick. But even if we do start before that time we have enough for subs and the actual event will last much longer than a week so you will still be able to play. @Whimsy
  21. No worries. If any of the other captains don't feel comfortable with being a captain let me know. I don't want to force you to be a captain. However, I would like to keep the captains at the highest ranks possible. EDIT: I screwed up the list. The newest captain is @Fishey. If I could actually do my job I would have this all correct. If any other captains don't want to be a captain then let me ASAP so I can replace you with another captain. I'd like to start this process on Wednesday or so.

  23. If the captains don't want the event then it won't take place. Less work for us lol. This was just a suggestion if the captains didn't really know how the people perform, especially if people were boosted to a certain rank. However, I don't feel that this is the case for all, if not most of the participants. Ranks are generally a good reflection of the skill level in any case. But if there is a captain(s) that want the reg event to happen I will see what we can organize.
  24. Alright d00ds: After speaking with @SpikedRocker we have decided to go with some captains that way people will be able to choose their own teams based off their own judgement. In doing so we have chosen the highest ranks to become the captains. Now obviously we have 6 LEM's so we had to divide them up in order to determine the captains. By doing a random drawing here is the list of captains and the picking order: 1. @Pan32 2. @PingPong 3. @Fishey 4. @Noobster 5. @Malibu 6. @Griffin What we would like to do is have an event where everyone can come and play, hopefully on a giant reg server, and that way the captains may be able to see the list of players participate if they have never seen them play before. In regards to the draft for anyone that does not know how they work: -Alucard will have the first choice of any player on the list. -After Alucard has chosen then Pan will choose his first teammate and so on. Each player receives 1 pick per round. -This isn't a "snake draft" so after Griffin has chosen his player we will go back to the beginning and start round 2 with Alucard. -In the end we will have approximately 6 teams of 7. I am hoping to get the draft started soon and hopefully we can do this on the forums in a very short period of time.
  25. Actually I requested that people update their ranks so that they would be current. This is because when the thread was originally created, approximately 2 weeks ago, I realized that ranks would change before we actually began the event. And a lot of people have seen rank changes. This will also help determine captains, which I will be doing later today.
