Ordered a LG 19" Widescreen, great sale price. Let me know what you think about it. Yep finally ditching my old Samsung 19" Crt that bit the dust after 5 years lol. Got shipping for 1.99 and 100.00 off the price.

Ignoring the low resolution that contrast ratio is probably it's "dynamic" contrast ratio, which is another way of saying "we played with the backlight using only dark or only bright screens and measured it in a pitch black room". It's nowhere near what you'll actually be getting. That combined with the usual impossibly-low 2ms response times sets off my TN panel alarm.

I'll post how it runs, there are lots of lcd's now with 2ms response time and 1000-1 contrast samsungs, asus's.

No, there are lots of lcd's now that claim a 2ms response time. There's a pretty big difference.

Heavy as you can imagine, but goes up to 1920x1640.

Monitor came today and holy shit did it make a difference, way bigger than my old 19 crt and bright as hell. I'm just blown away the difference it made by changing something so simple.
