I don't get why everyone keeps saying sourcemod is better, I have had mani admin on all my servers (including my current one) and it has never failed me, and it's really easy to use.

SM is more secure and more compatible with others addons/ plugins. But at the same time SM is a pain in the ass.

SM is better, but a hell of a lot more complicated.

 

Plus, rcon isn't a mod it's used for changing the server cvars with the console. (And other stuff)

Unfortunately SM is no more "secure" then Mani, its security holes are jsut in different locations. and since SM requires metamod, if you know how to mess with metamod you can bypass sourcemod all together.

 

we run an interesting mix of admin mods, and they are highly tweaked and patched to cut out a vast majority of the issues inherent in the mods individually.
