I have a lot of heros, mainly in my family . This person is my biggest hero : My grandfather ( may he rest in peace )

 

He had to take over hard farm duties at a young age when his father died, forcibly concripted into the German army in WW2 (which he survived) , spent 5 years in Siberian prison camp ( a lot of people did not survive this ) , came back to find that the new communist state had taken everything he owned . He then worked as a factory worker for several decades . What makes him a hero in my eyes ? The man was not bitter, even after all the suffering he went through, instead he was very kind and friendly .
