Have you ever overcame a huge fear?

 

I had a fear of roller coasters when I was younger, but I agreed to go to an amusement park(Canada's Wonderland) with 2 of my friends. It turns out they were really into big rides so I had to go on them with them. It wasn't as bad as I thought and now I can ride roller coasters! Most of them at least.

When I was young I was deathly afraid of the dark. I had to sleep with the entire room light on.

Now 80% of my day is spent in pitch black rooms.

Quite a 180 I'd say.

I missed a school trip to some huge rollercoaster park because I had never properly been on one before. Now, I'm fine with them. Really enjoy them

I used to have a fear of heights. I guess i grew out of it

I love roller coasters now lol. I went to a 6th grade field trip to six flags. I was in a group that wanted to go on every roller coaster and I didn't because I was scared. So I was that one dude that stayed in front of the entrance with their stuff waiting for them. But now I love roller coasters and also work at Six flags so free rides lol.

Anyways I had a fear of public speaking, I hated getting in front of my class for presenting projects but eventually I forced myself to volunteer for events and I grew out of it.
