if someone says a racial slur to you in the private steam messages thing, is that bannable? im just asking because someone said a slur to me.

no it is not on platform and does not break our rules. if they're harassing you that is a different story.

if you're uncomfortable i would block the person or tell them to stop in a serious tone. if they dont stop then i guess you could report them and see what happens. having to ask the question "is that harassing" is really subjective, if you don't feel harassed or have to ask it's probably not harassment, if you feel harassed report it and we can look into whether we think its a genuine issue that needs to be dealt with.

I already got this problem. The guy started spamming me the n word and other racial slur in private message. So if I understand, if he starts harrasing me its bannable right ?

If you ask him to stop and he continue, it starting to be harrassment. If I was you, I will just block communication with him.

Or you can click the “Do not allow communications” option or you can block them. Damn that’s crazy these options are given to us
