  1. Eh, it's kind of one of those that it's hard to explain why it's so different from TTT. While I agree it's based on the same concept of betrayal and deception, it sets itself apart far enough to not be a clone and maybe work alongside our TTT server
  2. At the start, yes, but instead of having 4+ traitors on a full server, you only have 2 brood aliens. And whenever a human dies by a brood, he can come back as a brood. And when you die by a human or a swarm alien, you come back as a swarm alien, which respawns but is very weak. If anything, it's a very fun gamemode that's worth a try. It could work, you really never know.
  3. Better have a server that's populated for a bit than a server that's dead, no? TTT and this are 2 different gamemodes, TTT starts off and remains a sneaky-sneaky style, while morbus eventually evolves into a combo between TTT and ZS as the match goes on.
  4. Are the major bugs fixed with it? (primarily the crashing that occurs) If so: Replace sh now and add plx If not: Wait until it's fixed and then add plx
  5. A Dark Room.

At first put enough to get abt 70 cured meat, then I'd stick with just 1 afterwards Wood, leather and fur are your most valuable commodities, bear in mind
  6. A Dark Room.

Play it, once you start playing it, and get into it, read the spoiler tag. A Dark Room
  7. CS:GO Server

"hurr durr it's nawt gona werk hurr durr" Let me put this into perspective As of the moment, the 2 servers that reliably have more than half of their playercap filled for most of the day are PB and MG. ZE generally has ~20 for most of the day, however it will have more since it's summer and people can play more now. DR is empty for most of the day, until about 6:00 when it gets about 8+ Now, suggesting that about 1/3 of the players that regularly visit our servers, don't visit the forums regularly, they won't know that we have a CS:GO server. Also, quite a few of the people who regularly visit our servers don't have CS:GO, so that cuts out another chunk of the population. And don't forget that quite a few of the people who DO have CS:GO, would not want to play that over our current CS:S servers. Lastly, CS:GO is primarily a reg game, not as many people want to play custom gamemodes on GO as much as they do on Source. In short: No, it's not going to work. It will be populated for maybe a week, MAYBE. But that's it. Valve didn't develop CS:GO, Hidden Path did. And if the Orange Box update tells you anything, they don't "like" custom gamemodes.
  8. we need dub dub's appeal i nominate that one just because of how amazing that is, however there's no link
  9. The fact that you can only get credits by playing and/or donating is there for a reason, you get credits by supporting the server in one way or another. Typing !bet ct 200 is not supporting the server. besides it'd ruin the bet t all joke
  10. ^^^^^ This idea has been brought up many times before, and every time it's been shot down. Reasons? 1: It will allow players to grind for credits constantly on dead servers (Player1 & Player2 join, Player1 bets 200 every round, Player2 then proceeds to kill himself every round) 2: The only point of it to exist is so that people can get credits faster, which is just plain silly. 3: Credits exist as an incentive to keep people playing and maybe even donate to the server, to have a system in place where people can easily circumvent that would entirely defeat the point of the donation/time-based credits. So no. It hasn't happened, it won't happen, and it will never happen.
  11. Pretty sure it went away because it died. The main problems with it being you can only play it with a few people, and it's harder than other servers to populate. On the other hand, it's fun as all hell if you get a decent group Maybe have it be a one-week-monthly thing?
  12. This is like the PS1 vs. Dreamcast vs. N64 The main difference being the Dreamcast was actually a pretty good console
  13. PS4

With the Wii U and PS3/360 I understand waiting on getting the console, since the launch PS3/360 HDD sucked. But, since the PS4/XBone launch HDD is 500GB, there's literally no reason to wait on it besides the pricedrop, and even then that won't happen for a while, and isn't it better getting all the awesome games atlaunch? ;D
  14. About time Surf got a dedicated AO Congrats to all of y'alls!
  15. just gonna chill wit my 3DS and my eventual wii U and ps4 RIP microsoft
  16. deal, i'll add a blur. will edit when i can be arsed to update (most likely tomorrow)
  17. You decide to have a lie down... But, before you know it, you fall asleep. And somehow, you die in your sleep. Don't ask me. What are you doing laying down? There's adventures that need adventuring by brave adventuring adventurers! You get up and decide to walk forward into the endless abyss, not knowing what waits for you on the other side, hoping that--- *KLANG* Okay, so it turns out this is actually just a prison cell. You can't see much past the giant foreboding steel wall. Actually, you can't see much at all. There's something on your face.
  18. Go through the middle door and take the glass shard that's stopping the door
  19. So, I got bored and decided to make an forum game based on the old Sierra/Lucasarts adventure games. The premise is that you need to adventure. No real plot... yet... RULES AND NOTES: READ THESE FIRST Now that all of the rules are out of the way, let's get started eh? You wake up in what appears to be a long corridor in a dungeon. "Tch, typical..." You think to yourself, you look down the corridor and it appears to be endless...
  20. Stab the monster in the eye and leave the room
  21. I thought that it'd be nice to have a subforum in off-topic dedicated specifically to forum games (like this) Considering I'm sure there's a few ideas that some people have for their own forum games, it'd also keep it out of the main off-topic forum
  22. --------------- ^fuck you cappn
  23. This isn't a RP guys, this is a adventure. Pretend that you're playing Monkey Island: You don't decide what happens, you decide what you do. Everything else is the game. You walk forward, attempting to avoid the (obvious) trapdoor, and inspect the lever.
  24. Upgrading my PC

lol Honestly, the least I'd recommend is a 670, that'll last you a decent amount of time and it'll run most games on either high or ultra.
