I think you've misunderstood my entire opinion on this matter. My point here is that we don't need to have a rank for people to do this. Yeah other communities do it, but that doesn't mean we have to. Again, I was expressing my opinon in this matter. Which is part of my job around here. Sometimes I endorse ideas that I think have real merit and then I'll be vocal about ideas I am not excited about. I'm not afraid to tell someone their idea isn't the best. However, I try to point out where the idea needs improvement most of the time. Which does not turn me to be a pessimistic, yes my view point is negative and not in your favor, but I'm far from a pessimistic. My point wasn't to shit on your idea, it never is. I am not against a reward system. If we come up with some form of reward other than a rank, I will more than likely back it. However, just handing out ranks is something I do not support (I obviously am not speaking on behalf of the others on the board).

Since its a pretty simple game it will be a filler game.

Just my two cents, I don't think a rank is necessary. A recognition I am fine with, but we got so many damn ranks around here its a pain in the ass to design the website. Also, anyone deserving of anything like this IMO would be required to submit more than just one map and mapping takes time. If someone is dedicated enough to do this fair game, but I doubt any one who is lurking here has the time/dedication/skills to do so.

At some point tomorrow, do not have specific time of when, the ZE server will go down unannounced. The host has to make a change the box so we can go forward with some testing. When someone notices, please let an BD know then say it on the shoutbox and here. That way we don't get flooded with the same message.

The good news is that we've been running the server for about 2 days and not a single crash or any bad reports. Next step will be adding other servers over and making sure they run well in concert. I'll be moving another server over mid-week.

I'll check my e-mail and see if they sent me the update link. It is going to be really short cause its still pretty early in developement, but you can see what goes on and what not. Would probably be a quick in between games kind of thing where I'm waiting for something. Speedrunners will be one of those games where if we need filler we'll throw it in there if we got the people for it for sure. I may end up switching a few things around as well.

You also cannot compare it to the Rust server as we have a special arrangement in place where it doesn't compete with our other servers when it comes to resources. At this point we have no plan to expand into other CS:GO servers.

Its why I want to use Team Viewer for the Extra Life event. :-P

As many of you have been told recently, we are looking to move our servers to a new Dedicated Server box. We have been working the past 2-3 weeks on this move and now we are ready for the first phase of testing. As of 5:00 PM ET today, the ZE server is now on the new Dedi. If you had our server in your favorite servers, you'll notice no change in how you need to connect to it. However, if you did not, you'll need to connect via 70.42.74.162:27015. This IP is only going to be temporary while we do some testing. I hope to only have this temporary IP for a week and then it will switch back. So what else do you need to know? Well if you notice any issues of any sort, you'll need to report it ASAP. The server will not restart itself at this current moment. So if it does crash, it could be down for some time. We are working on methods to help this, but at the current time we will need your help on this. Doesn't the steam broadcast stuff lag? If its delayed by anything more than 25 seconds most of these jackbox things may not work as the timer is 30-45 seconds.

For security reasons I'll have to be running the games. The halloween sale is next week so I'll probably pick up quiplash, drawful2 and jackbox 2. Jackbox 3 doesn't look as good imo. In the other thread someone (@Thompson and @Stunningjam) asked about SpeedRunners. I do have it, I have it as a back up game if we need a game to fill time or if we swap things around. Also, at some point in the event I will (hopefully) be streaming an Alpha build of Hello Neighbor. There were some issues with it running on Windows 7, I'll do some testing and make sure its stable before confirming it, but it is also an Alpha build so these things tend to happen. There are still a ton of slots for games to sign up for, I will be posting the final version of the schedule on November 2nd. So you'll have until then to get signed up. Don't need to purchase it, you'll be able to play via mobile device or web browser, just need TeamViewer to see the game from my end without a delay. I'd defer to people whom have played MP BO games before, I have never done that. If I don't get enough support I'll probably switch it out, may be easier that way.

Yeah we'll do a campaign or 2, maybe a survival. Levels for BL2 i'm not too concerned with, I think I am 25ish, haven't even finished the story yet. No licence needed for TeamViewer. There is a professional version that has a bunch of bells and whistles which we won't need. I'll definitely be testing all of that this weekend so if you are able to be around for that would be a good thing to get figured out.

I do not know when they'll be doing this or how it will work, with my communication with them I am learning more and more each time. Sorry no schedule yet, still working to confirm a few other bits for it. However, I'm going to need to do a small test stream this weekend. I don't know exactly when I'll do it, but stay tuned cause I'll need some people to help with it. If you plan to be apart of the November stream, it would help me to get you guys on TeamSpeak so I can do some audio adjustments on my end. If theres not a way to do it from within the group settings, labarr's suggestion is the only way to do it. I never really messed around with them. IMO they are kinda lame.

Well I just received an e-mail from Rooster Teeth and we made the cut. We are either going to be featured or a backup in case someone drops out. I haven't gotten word on what we are exactly. It's very possible they will be checking in with our stream from time to time to see what we are doing and how interesting it is. I still am working on the schedule, this news has kinda forced me to accelerate it now to get it finished and get people lined up. So stay tuned, I'll have something out probably by the end of the weekend.
