    basically it's for old admins who have been around for a long time (what CA use to be). Now CA is a different role and they actually make proposals and advise the community.:)

  20. XP: 1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop 2. Select Properties 3. Click the Desktop tab 4. Click the Customize button 5. Click Restore Default 6. Exit all windows and restart your computer Vista: Right click on the desktop and select personalize , then select change desktop icons and tick the box that says recycle bin finally click apply and presto it should be back where you left it.
  21. Sounds like more of a problem with your graphics card/driver. Try updating or reinstalling the driver CD you got with it.
  22. Over here, simple diagnostic costs like £65 and that's not even to fix the problem (if there is one).
  23. If your willing to put all your passwords in one tiny text file then you deserve to be scammed. Especially if it's banking passwords. This isn't surprising at all. I have a friend who charges extremely high rates for something as simple as a RAM upgrade. Something that would cost £20 cots £80 and to install it is £25
  24. The only possibly problematic thing you may occur would be reconnection the connectors to the motherboard. I'd advise writing down where everything went on your last board and taking a few pictures of it so you remember where it all goes.
  25. it's more than double the price though with 180 less wattage. I'm sure if Paul is clever enough he can hide a few cables using some cable ties etc. A good website I used when I upgraded my PC It's good for getting cabling accessories http://www.aquacooledpc.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=27_52 can't find the page which sells all the special cable ties..
