  2. Yeah just everyone else said, you have to close all of the resource hogging programs or atleast set their priority to low with the task manager. I don't know about Window Media Player though, I heard it actually increases performance.. or maybe that's for XP. Put this in the set Launch Options -high It set's Left 4 Dead's priority to guess what? high..

  17. Check if the battery usage is set to low or power saver. That's what usually causes a performance problem for my old laptop a while back.

  21. I use iTunes, mainly because I have a 4GB Ipod Nano duh I have about 366 after my format. Before I used to have about 1k much of songs from different genres but after the format I just sticked with redownloading all my hiphop songs.
