lol, i use all of those download sites too. if i find something useful on them i download it from them using my greasemonkey scripts that avoid waiting or automate the waiting in general.

computers run off of the room temperature unless you're liquid cooling. In the mornings/overnight my house is at 63 degrees , but the point is it makes my ambient temp go to ~25 C and the rest of the day when the temp is turned to 69 or so its ~30.

most asus mobos use nvida's chipsets lol (but i agree about the quality of asus) and meh@ crts. honestly, there is nothing that a crt can do better than an lcd now, you want refresh rates? they make them in 120 now.

eh, in that case i wouldnt worry about it. unless it goes to ~80C under load you're under no worry whatsoever. I bet the cpu and everything else gets better temps for a tradeoff.

i agree with andre for the most part as always. I cannot, in good faith, suggest the 975 extreme. its not that much better than the one below it that is VASTLY cheaper. the price is outrageous just because it has an unlocked multiplier. I seriously doubt you would want to OC that badly anyway.
