^ what he said. Most of the time Steam likes to go not responding on restart, and so it might count as a crash and then wont save your settings. Although, having programs in startup slows your startup down a whole fucking lot. It would be much faster to just launch it when you're ready, or slightly after boot.

now, tell me how much you spent on that? I was impressed by all of the specs, while at the same time getting a sick feeling in my stomach at how much you would have spent on that. Personally, I wouldn't have gone that overboard (especially that damned $1000 USD processor), and that's if I had built it myself. I'm gonna guess...... over 3,000 USD?

And since when, my good friend, does using a credit card (or any form of payment that allows you to purchase things online) count as "selling it to you" or "you buy it for 9.99"? you can boot off of usb flash drives ffs. you just have to make sure its bootable and is high enough on the boot sequence.

if you're gonna use it for games, you better get one that uses firewire, otherwise itll lag. and they won't "have your info", just the files on it. But if you protect your investments like a regular person, this shouldnt be an issue.

holy FUCK. this is occuring and you didn't try seeing what was using that much percentage or restarting first? Also, nTune works fine for the suggested purpose, but I cannot suggest using it for overclocking, as it is horrible to use when compared to rivatuner (which does the exact same stuff as nTune, including temp monitoring, and then some)

When i said that i was lazily referring to the os doing this work. That's why i said "effectively", because I wasn't sure if you were referring to one major process or not. I didn't say they technically work together though, because i totally agree that they don't.
