  1. I like the gray, but actually agree with Labarr's idea as well, making the SA sub's bold.
  2. I was under the impression that crock pots can't make that great of meals (before I ever really used one). Soooooo false. They're easy as fuck usually but some are really good dishes.
  3. What do you wanna know lol
  4. Actually the reason mainly why I turned down my culinary scholarship was because 'making a dish look lively' is the gayest shit ever. I make food because I want to eat it, not because I want to look at it and admire it's beauty. And cilantro? On cajun food?
  5. on sale $20 at best buy. it's pretty awesome actually
  6. Been awhile it seems...sort of forgot to keep posting what I make. It's hard to make shit without a kitchen, so I have to do everything by hot plate / crock pot. Cajun-type dish I made. Starting out... Ended up...
  7. After the issue is resolved I will post back here. Please send a PM to me concerning any days you missed out on.
  8. Good afternoon everyone, We've noticed an issue with subscriber on our forums, and we are working on fixing it. Sorry if any of you have been automatically removed; if you have missed out on days of subscriber you paid for, you will be comped for the days missed. Please have patience with us while we sort out this website issue. Thanks
  9. I'm Drank

i request the location ofthe caucasian females
  10. Hello everyone, We have a few people taking a step up (or over) in the community. To LG, we have Unnamed Newbie & Prez. Both have done a lot of work for this community and it has not gone unnoticed. To CA, we've got Black Rain, Wawa, and Paralyzed. All have showed activity and interest in the community, and are willing to take a step up to the role of Community Advisor. Finally, to the rank of AO, we are promoting Beth. She has been around for awhile, shown activity as a CA, and was even an AO in the past. Please welcome all of these people to their newly appointed ranks.
  11. You have to be more specific when you say "old system". To me, this is the old system that we currently have lol
  12. just played with some peeps, still a lot of fun
  13. We used to play this game quite a bit like 4-5 years ago. It was pretty fun, haven't played it in years. Let's get a group of people playing. It's a free to play game on steam, so download it and come play. Think you can play with groups of 4. Hit me up on steam or ts
  14. Welcome

Also, standby for some promotions coming soon
  15. Welcome

Welcome to the new domain, everyone. Apologies for it taking a couple days longer than expected, but we ran into some unforeseen issues. We are currently working on updating the servers entirely to reflect the new domain, so if you notice any type of advertisement or message in the servers that still reflects the old domain (after about 24 hours of this message), please message an AO or a BD. If you had used the steam login feature on the forums, you’ll have to log in again since we changed domains. We also have a few people stepping down to LG: MPQC and Floffy. Both of them have been a tremendous help towards this community, and their work will definitely not be forgotten. Also, please give a big thanks to the BD’s, TA’s, and AO’s for making this transition as smooth as possible.
  16. I have been getting a lot of PM's, questions, threads, etc in regards to all of this and the 'new' name. If I didn't clarify it enough, I apologize. Here is the deal: I talked to a legitimate trade mark / copyright attorney. I gave the whole spiel, let her look at the community, told her what I own, what Ryan owns, etc etc. It came down to the fact that both Ryan and myself have viable arguments for "ownership" of the name 'SteamGamers'. Ryan because he purchased the domain, and me because I own every other aspect of this community. In a court room, if it ever went there, she straight up said she has no idea how it would play out, and that it would be much better off if we settled with the guy. Even if I trademarked the name this very second, Ryan could still argue for ownership...even if my trademark was approved. At any point in time he could take it to a court level and fight it. Would he win? I have no idea. I don't want to take it to that level though...there is no need for us to create that big of a deal out of a video game community. I understand this place is a second-home for many (including myself), but I do not want to see the inside of a courtroom because of it. The name 'Steam-Gamers' is, in the eyes of the law, a completely separate name. Changing to steamgamers.org...the lawyer advised against. We could still face potential claims from Ryan because the name is the exact same, albeit a different domain. Could I post a donation goal and try to raise thousands of dollars from you guys? Sure, I could. In my honest opinion, it seems really shady to do that to you guys. The website is not worth that much (Spiked laid it out very well), and it's ridiculous he'd ask for that much, just because it's what he spent. I appreciate your guy's help and opinions, but this has been in the process for months upon months. We have slowly and methodically planned out the best route to go (and legal), and have decided this is it. Is it possible we could change the domain name later on? Sure, it is. However we need to immediately break away from where we are at.
  17. I know some of you guys are trying to give legal advice as far as all this goes...I sat down with an actual lawyer and got a lot of information from her about what we can't do. This move we are doing is fine. Also, this is the first response I got back from Ryan in days...so you guys can all see how he does not care about SG whatsoever:
  18. Oh I didn't see that. Technically, yes, that would be fine.
  19. We cannot keep the exact name of steamgamers, due to potential legality issues. No advertising, please.
  20. We thought about it lol, I brought it up. I guess it's expensive to buy. Like $800 or something
  21. Hello everyone... When Garfield was the owner of SG, he sold it off to an outside party: a guy named Amit. Amit tried to maintain activity at SG, but could not. He ended up selling it to another guy named Ryan. Ryan has no activity here at SG, and does not intend to have any. When Spartan was the president, there was a working relationship between him and Ryan. While Ryan may have owned the domain name, he gave Spartan and the Board the access they needed to do their tasks when it came to management, security, upgrades, etc etc. This access was cut from us about a few months ago. The only form of communication I have (or Spartan had) with Ryan was email. With that being said, the email conversations I have with him are incredibly frustrating. He either does not respond to my emails at all, or he will respond, but does not answer what I am asking him. We no longer have a relationship with the domain owner that enables us to do our job as members of the Board. With that being said, I sent Ryan an email at the beginning of this week (after months of trying to regain access), essentially telling him to either sell the domain to us or we will be forced to move our community elsewhere. Ryan wants an astronomical amount for the site. After trying to get him to negotiate with us, he has stopped responding to me altogether. So, this leads us into being forced to move our community somewhere else. As much as I would love to keep steam-gamers.net, we are no longer able to stay here. We have no way to protect this site if anything were to happen; we are relying entirely on an outside party who isn't even active here. I am not trying to make Ryan out to seem like a bad guy...I'm sure he has a busy life and all that jazz, but this third-party-owner scenario we have does not work anymore. You are probably asking yourself "What does this mean for me?" In all reality, the only thing we are changing is the domain name, with a slight change to our publicly displayed name. Due to potential legality issues, we have to change our name slightly, in case Ryan were to come after us. The logo will stay the same; floffypus owns that and all rights associated with it. Our new name will be SteamGaymers. Okay, not really. Seriously though, the new site will be Steam-gamers.net. Everything else will remain the same. The only other slight change will be the connection info for teamspeak (the connection info is 192.223.24.27); the IP is the same...but just in case you are using ts.steam-gamers.net to connect. All of the server IP's will remain the same. The forum layout will remain the same. All of your posts, thanks, avatars, etc, will be the same (save for posts that are made potentially in between the last backup and when we bring the new site up). We are going to be working on this over the next day or two. While this is happening, the servers won't be down. There will be some restarts happening to update all of the info in the servers to reflect the new domain...but that is it. Please pass this word around. We are going to be sending announcements in all the steam groups, so everyone is on the same page. If the forums go down, please try using the new domain to see if the new forums are up. However, we will still be sending a message on the steam group to make sure people get the word. If you are not apart of the group, please join it. I understand this is a big change, but in all reality, mostly everything will remain the same. We just need to move in order to provide the best support we can to you guys. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us here, in a PM, teamspeak, or steam. We are trying to make this transition as smooth as possible, and we appreciate all of your constant support in pushing the community forward. Once again: New Domain: www.steam-gamers.net TeamSpeak IP address: 192.223.24.27 Steam Group: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Steamgamers
  22. A whole Chocolate Ghost Pepper (no, it's not chocolate covered...it's a type of pepper). Worst pain I have ever been in in my entire life. My taste buds were shot for about a week. Could not taste anything.
