No, I wasn't playing anything back. I just typed "Record Test01" while playing on a LAN server with me and some bots, then it all sped up. Oh well, restarting worked, guess that's the end of the story.

Ok, for some reason when I re-launched CSS, it played normal speed while recording. So thats gonna be how I fix it.

I couldn't find a Help section, so I figured tech talk was a good place to put this. When ever I record a demo on a self-made LAN server (just through the "Create server" button in CSS main menu) and I start to record a demo, the entire game seems to speed up (eg, every one second real-time is about 10 seconds on the in-game clock). I begin to move around at atleast 5 times the normal speed, as do all the bots, actions, and timer. I haven't made demos before, which can probably explain why I don't know how to fix this. This is more of a learning experience for anything I may want to do in the future with demos. Anyone know why it speeds up and/or how to make it go normal spped so I can actually play while recording? Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about it, since my dad set up this computer, but AVG has been pretty reliable for me. Only down side (and i dont know if other protection programs do this or not) is it reads cookies as a warning to your security.

Yep, we took it in to the apple store and thats what the guy at their Genius Bar (and my friend, =P) both deducted. Luckly, he was nice, and even though the Touch was slightly past warrently (9 days, typical it breaks after the warrenty is up, =P), we are getting it replaced for no extra cost. Anyway, thanks for suggestions and what not. Edit: 2fast, it did still charge.

Since I know some other SGs have an iTouch or iPhone, i'm hoping someone could help me with this. My computer, after I connect my iTouch, says "USB device not recongnized." I suspect this is because USBAAPL.SYS is missing from my computer. After searching apple, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1852 is the closest I can find to how to fix this, yet all it says is to check if the drivers and that .sys are on the computer. It does not provide a link or anything on where to DL it. I have tried reinstalling iTunes, as it suggests, and it still will not recongize it. Even "repairing" iTunes has failed. So until my friend, who's a genius at this stuff, can help me, im asking you guys. HALP MEH!
